Digital Media Producer

Job Description & Requirements

As an Digital Media Producer, you will be required to create animations/videos that can be easily manipulated by the client, and have mechanisms in place for voiceovers to be implemented either prior to or following the animation development process. You will also be required to record public footages and produce waiver forms if necessary. This position is completely remote and would require you to attend meetings via Skype or equivalent. You will be working closely with a team lead based out of Toronto, Canada.

Requirements for this role includes:

  • Demonstrated abilities of 2D animation skills at least at a beginner level with tools such as ToonBoom, Pencil2D, etc.
  • Experience with any video editing software
  • Ability to add visual effects is a plus
  • Voiceover capabilities such as lip syncing and mouth rigging is an asset
  • Access to a camera or cell phone that can record 1080p video for at least 30mins
  • Access to a consistent internet connection is preferred, with the ability to upload large amounts of data
  • Communication skills are key; you must be able to either present or document your findings

Interview Process & Tips

  1. Online Questionnaire: As part of the hiring process, you must fill out and submit the following survey. This process may take up to 5 business days as we close the date on the hiring process and move forward with candidates who have made it to the next step.
  2. Online Technical Interview: If you are shortlisted for this step, you will be contacted for a time that works for you. In order to prepare for this, you must be in front of a computer with a stable internet connection. The first portion of the interview will include behavioral questions, while the second part will involve sharing your screen and any related video editing projects you have done in the past.
  3. Online Technical Interview II: In cases where we have multiple candidates at the final stages, we will conduct a final interview similar to the previous one to better gauge your qualifications.
  4. The last step - but definitely not the least: your offer of employment and final onboarding process!
